Privacy policy
Arya is a personal project: tools one person built for their own use. The only person who uses them, and the only person whose data they handle, is their owner. This policy covers the Google Drive backup tool, build-me-things backups, and applies the same way to anything else on this site.
What the backup tool accesses
With the owner's permission, the tool uses Google's
drive.file scope. That lets it create a folder in the owner's
Google Drive, put backup files in it, list them, and delete old ones. It
cannot see, open or change any other file in the owner's Drive.
What data it handles
The backup files are compressed copies of the owner's own data from their home server: things like to-dos, notes and settings. The tool reads nothing from Google beyond the files it created, and collects no data about anyone else.
Where data goes
Data moves only between the owner's home server and the owner's own Google Drive. It is not sold, shared, or sent to any other person or service, and it is not used for advertising or analytics. No cookies or tracking are used on this site.
How long it's kept
Backups in Google Drive are kept for 28 days and then deleted by the tool, apart from the three newest, which are always kept. The owner can delete any of them at any time.
Google API data
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google Account's security settings, under third-party apps with account access. Existing backup files stay in Drive until they are deleted.

Questions go to the developer contact listed on the app's Google sign-in screen.
